Structure of PVG Conveyor Belt
- Cover Layer:
Material: PVC and NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) compound.
Function: Provides protection against abrasion, impacts, and environmental conditions. This layer also offers good resistance to oils and chemicals.
- Solid Woven Carcass:
Material: Solid woven fabric, typically made from a combination of synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon.
Function: Acts as the main reinforcement layer, providing high tensile strength, durability, and flexibility. The solid woven construction ensures superior resistance to tearing and puncturing.
- Adhesive Layers:
Between the carcass and the NBR covers, adhesive layers are applied to ensure strong bonding.
Function: This enhances the belt’s overall integrity and prevents delamination under stress.
